Quilt as You Go - Zippity Do Done Bag

Cosmetic Bags are the perfect project for anyone looking to spice up their travel bag. With two different sizes for you to choose from and a handy “tuck and sew” zipper solution, this project is sure to be a fun one. Improvise with fabrics for a personalized look. As a bonus for those who own the Baby Lock Solaris, Altair or Destiny, Jackie will show how to add additional quilting using your IQ Designer.

Supply list:

All supplies you use for sewing/quilting and your sewing machine. Please bring along a walking foot.

Follow the instruction on your pattern for fabric requirements. Preparation for class is to have all your fabric cut out according to your pattern.

I added an all over fill stitch on my bag using IQ designer on my Baby Lock. If you have IQ designer and are planning on doing the fill stitch you will need to bring your embroidery module, a dime embroidery hoop size 10.5 x 16 inch., tear away stabilizer, embroidery thread and embroidery foot. I had to use the monster hoop because the big zippered bag will only fit on this one.

Also I added a vinyl lining to my bag and optional is ribbon to the top of the bag. If planning on this you will need to purchase these items.
